Building Play20 framework with Jenkins CI

Here is a very short how-to build periodically Play20 framework with Jenkins CI cloning directly Github master.

This is really simple as you can launch SBT directly from Jenkins shell command.

Create a new Job

Connect the job to Play20 Github

Add a CRON schedule

Launch SBT from Shell command

It should build the whole project and publish all JARs in the local Ivy repository created by Play20 while building.

If you have default Jenkins installation under Linux, it should be there:

/var/lib/jenkins/jobs/Play20-master/workspace/repository/local

This directory can then be published as is by a HTTP server to provide a remote Ivy repository containing Play20 snapshots.

Have fun with Play2 ;)
